Introducing KWIK <> SDN : The first release of Kwikswap LP hi-yield farms on Shiden
As mentioned in our recent socials and development blogs, Kwikswap has been working in stealth to release a new set of incentive programs that will enable Kwikswap token holders to stake and also farm.
Currently Kwikstarter IDO Launchpad has around $600K of Kwikswap staking and this article will announce our current development sprint that is “Kwikswap LP farming on Shiden”
Firstly we would like to congratulate Shiden for launching it’s mainnet. Kwikswap was extremely honoured to be the first DEX launched LIVE on the Shiden mainnet. Currently Shiden and the Anyswap team are working frantically to build a bridge for Shiden and migrate popular trading pairs onto the Shiden mainnet. Once this has been completed, Kwikswap Shiden DEX at shiden.kwikswap.org will feature all migrated pairs and start off all the action!
In addition to our Shiden DEX, The Kwikswap development team is 50%+ through our development sprint to deploy, test and deliver Kwikswap LP yield farms on Shiden! Due to development times varying and possible roadblocks, we will not put an exact release date on this due to some third party involvement etc.
Kwikswap LP yield farming on Shiden will include the top 5–10 market pairs — which means Kwikswap DEX on Shiden is about to get even more attention and this will in turn help get a lot more publicity into this exciting new network!
Extremely healthy APY/APR’s will be made available to LP yield farmers and this will attract even more liquidity to our DEX and also attract increased long-term investors into the Kwikswap and Shiden ecosystems.

What is Shiden Network?
Shiden Network is a parachain of the Kusama network and the canary network of Astar. It is a testing ground for experimentation, research and development. Shiden provides the same set of functions as Astar. Kusama Relaychain does not support smart contract functionality by design — Kusama Network needs a smart contract layer. This is where Shiden Network comes in. Shiden supports Ethereum Virtual Machine, WebAssembly, and Layer2 solutions from day one. The platform supports various applications like DeFi, NFTs and more. It is important to note the canary networks are not the same as test networks.
